For nearly 40 years, the Mendez Foundation has been developing and implementing unparalleled K-12 prevention education programs that teach kids they are too good for drugs and violence. These social-emotional skill-building programs make a positive impact on the lives of students, educators, caregivers, and community leaders nationwide. It is a small investment with a big return – healthy, happy kids for generations to come.
We’ve been busy these past fifty years. From our modest beginnings as a local supporter of children and youth focused efforts in Tampa Florida to a nationally recognized leader in prevention education and healthy social development, we continue to strive to prepare all children and youth to reach their highest potential in school and in life.
